More lawsuit drama at Dolce & Gabbana! The Italian company’s U.S. publicist, Ali Wise, was arrested on charges of hacking into the voice mail of interior designer and socialite Nina Freudenberger last week, but has yet to be fired!
Wise’s lawyer, Mark Jay Heller (who also represented Fabian Basabe) states that her client has “‘done nothing illegal and has done nothing wrong’” and is still employed by Dolce & Gabbana, as reported by WWD.
The 32-year-old publicist usually makes the papers for her social life and on-again, off-again relationship with hotelier Jason Pomeranc.
Now Wise is facing felony charges of computer trespass and eavesdropping!
According to the complaint filed in Manhattan Criminal Court, Wise allegedly told a detective that she bought a Spoofcard (computer spyware) to access Freudenbereger’s voice mails.
The compaint also states that Wise broke “into the account 54 times between Jan. 2, 2008 and March 15, 2008,” cites WWD.
